1. Who you are agreeing with
Hinru is operated by ODUMWORLD GROUP LLC, a Florida limited liability company (Florida document number L26000336865), with its principal office at 9350 Lake Hickory Nut Drive, Winter Garden, FL 34787. In these Terms, "OdumWorld," "we," "us," and "our" mean ODUMWORLD GROUP LLC. "You" means the person using Hinru.
"Hinru" or "the Service" means the Hinru web application at https://app.hinru.com and any successor address we publish.
This version of the Terms covers the closed beta. Access is by invitation. If you are reading this, you were invited. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who may use Hinru
You must be 18 or older. The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Beta access is personal to you. Your invitation link and your login are yours alone. Please do not share them or pass your invitation to someone else.
3. Your account
You create an account with an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@odumworld.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
One account, one person. Shared and team accounts are not part of the Service.
4. What Hinru does
Hinru helps you build and keep a working record alongside a long-running Football Manager save. You create the record. Hinru stores it, organizes it by type, shows it back to you, and lets an assistant work with it at your direction. The point is that a long save stops living only in your head.
This is pre-release software and you are one of the first people outside our family to use it. Features will change. Some will break. We may add or remove things without notice during the beta.
5. Your content, and who owns it
You own your content. Everything you create in or upload to Hinru belongs to you. That includes your decisions, your rules, your saves, your session history, your uploads, and anything else you put into the Service. Using Hinru does not transfer ownership of any of it to us.
We do not keep your uploads. A screenshot or file you share is sent to an assistant provider so it can be read. What the assistant writes down about it is saved as part of your conversation, and stays available to your session the way any message does. The file and image themselves are not stored, which also means they are not in your download. Keep your own copy of anything you need.
The exception is a club crest you add to a save. That image is kept, because the Service shows it back to you every time you open the save, and it is included in your download. It is deleted with your account like the rest of your content.
We are the custodian, not the owner. To operate the Service for you, you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, transmit, and display your content, for one purpose only: running the Service at your direction. That means storing your content, showing it back to you, backing it up, and passing it to an assistant provider when you ask us to.
That license is limited in exactly these ways:
- It is not a license to use your content to improve our products or services.
- It is not a license to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any model on your content. See §6.
- It is not sublicensable, except to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy who process data on our behalf and only for the purposes in this section.
- It is not perpetual. It ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the deletion timeline in §15.
- It does not let us sell, rent, or share your content with advertisers. We do not do this.
You are responsible for your content, including having the rights to it and complying with the law when you put it into Hinru.
6. We do not train on your content
We do not use your content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine learning models. Not our own, and not anyone else's. This is the default and it is not something you have to switch on.
If we ever offer a way for you to voluntarily contribute your content to improve the product, it will be opt-in, off by default, and described plainly at the point you are asked. We will not enable it for you, and we will not bury it in a settings page or a Terms update.
This section describes what OdumWorld does. The assistant providers in §7 process requests under their own terms, and we choose providers and settings with this commitment in mind.
7. How the assistant works
Hinru sends requests to an assistant provider to do the work you ask for. During the beta we do this using our own provider accounts, at our cost. You do not supply a key, you do not have a provider account with us, and you are not charged for assistant usage.
Two providers receive content, each for different work. Our Privacy Policy names them, says what each one sees, and is updated if that ever changes.
We apply a usage allowance per account so that a fault or a runaway session cannot generate unbounded cost. If you reach it, we will tell you.
The assistant can be wrong. It writes from what you give it, and it sometimes gets things wrong in ways that read as confident. Check anything you intend to rely on.
8. What we own, and what you may do with Hinru
Everything that makes up the Service is ours. That includes the software, the design, the layout, the text and graphics we wrote, the name, the logo, and the systems and methods behind how Hinru organizes and recalls your work. It is protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and patent law, including applications pending. Some parts are licensed to us by others, and their rights are reserved too.
Your licence. While your account is open, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use Hinru for your own use. That is the whole of what you get. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.
What that licence does not allow. You may not copy, modify, or make derivative works of the Service; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, or otherwise try to derive its source code or how it works underneath, except where the law says that restriction cannot apply to you; rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or run the Service for anyone else; remove or obscure any notice of ownership; or use the Service, or what you learn from using it, to build or assist a competing product.
Our name and logo. "Hinru," "OdumWorld," and our logos and lockups are our trademarks. You may not use them without our written permission, other than to say plainly and truthfully that you use Hinru.
This is separate from your content. §5 governs what you own. This section governs what we own. What the assistant writes for you is a third thing, and it is covered next.
What the assistant produces for you. The assistant writes reports, write-ups, session summaries, and its own side of your conversations. To the extent we hold any rights in that material, it is yours to keep and use. What stays ours is the machinery: the software, the prompts, the methods, the model configuration, and the processing you do not see. Owning a write-up gives you no licence to the system that produced it.
9. Football Manager, and other material you bring
Hinru is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Sports Interactive Limited or SEGA. "Football Manager" and "FM" are their trademarks. We use those names only to describe, truthfully, what Hinru is built to work alongside.
You are responsible for what you upload. Screenshots and text taken from a game contain material owned by that game's publisher. Bringing them into Hinru for your own use is your decision. If you are not sure whether the game's own terms allow it, check them before you upload. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to upload.
10. Copyright, and how to report infringement
We respect copyright and we expect the same from the people who use Hinru.
Our designated agent. Notices of claimed infringement go to the agent we have registered with the United States Copyright Office:
Jeanelle Odum OdumWorld Group LLC 9350 Lake Hickory Nut Dr., Winter Garden, FL 34787 hello@odumworld.com 904-635-1475
Listed in the Copyright Office's DMCA Designated Agent Directory under registration number DMCA-1078905.
If you believe something in Hinru infringes your copyright, write to the agent above with:
- what work you say is infringed;
- what material you say is infringing, and where in the Service it is;
- your name, address, and email;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for them;
- your signature, physical or electronic.
We will look at every notice we receive, remove or disable access to material we determine is infringing, and end access for anyone who infringes repeatedly.
11. Beta access, and what we are asking of you
You are here by invitation, early, on software that is not finished. This section is the exchange that makes that work, and both halves of it are below.
What you get
- Beta access free for a defined term, not free forever. We will tell you the term. Nothing is charged during the beta and we do not collect payment details. When the term ends, carrying on moves to a paid plan, and beta testers get first access to founding-member pricing.
- We ask before we quote you. If we want to use something you said, we will ask, and you can say no. We ask each time, and your access never depends on your answer.
What we ask of you
- Honest feedback. Telling us what is broken is the exchange. We do not ask you for praise and we will not condition your access on giving any.
- Please check with us before publishing screenshots or recordings of the Service while the beta is closed. This is a courtesy ask, not a non-disclosure agreement, and it ends when the beta does.
- Feedback about the product is ours to use to improve it, without obligation to you and without payment. Your own content stays yours under §5. Feedback about Hinru, and the work you keep inside Hinru, are separate things.
What we reserve
- We may end beta access at any time, for any tester. You get notice, and the export in §15 stays open to you.
12. Acceptable use
Do not use Hinru to:
- break the law, or help anyone else break it;
- upload content you do not have the rights to;
- attempt to access another user's account or data;
- probe, scan, or test the security of the Service, or work around any access control, rate limit, or usage allowance;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a service of your own;
- scrape or bulk-extract the Service by automated means beyond the export path we provide;
- upload malware, or interfere with the Service's operation for anyone else.
We may suspend or end access for an account that breaks these rules.
13. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. It is part of your agreement with us, and you should read it alongside these Terms.
14. Availability and warranties
We work to keep Hinru available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and during a closed beta you should expect that it will not be. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We run on other companies' infrastructure. Hinru is hosted by Vercel and your content is stored in a database run by Neon. We chose them and we take reasonable care, but we do not control them, and we are not responsible for loss, corruption, or unavailability of data caused by an outage or failure at a provider we rely on.
Do not rely on Hinru as the only copy of anything you cannot lose. Use the export in §15 and keep your own copy of anything that matters.
15. Ending your account, and what happens to your data
You can leave at any time. You can download a portable copy of the work in your account from within the Service, including your conversations, your saved records, and your write-ups. Internal system, security, and processing records are not part of that download, and you can ask us separately for a copy of the personal data we hold about you. You can delete your account from your account settings.
When you delete your account, we delete your content within 30 days, including working copies in our backups as they age out. Some records may be kept longer only where the law requires it, and only for that purpose.
We may end your access if you materially break these Terms, or when the beta ends. Unless access was ended for abuse of the Service, we will give you a reasonable chance to export your content first, and the same 30-day deletion applies.
16. Limitation of liability
The short version: if something goes wrong, what you can recover from us is capped, and the cap is low. The beta is free, so the usual "you get back what you paid us" cap would come to nothing. We have set a flat figure instead, stated below. Read §14 and keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OdumWorld will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service, whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred US dollars.
Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
17. Indemnity
This covers what you bring, not what we build. If someone brings a claim because of your content, or because you used the Service in breach of these Terms, that one is yours to handle.
You will defend and indemnify OdumWorld against claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your content or your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Links to other sites
Hinru may link to sites we do not run. We do not control them and we are not responsible for their content, their terms, or what they do with your information. Read their terms and privacy policies before you rely on them.
19. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for failing to provide the Service where the cause is outside our reasonable control. That includes outages at the providers we depend on, network failures, acts of government, natural events, and industrial action. If such an event lasts long enough to make the Service unusable, either of us may end this agreement, and §15's export and deletion terms still apply.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
Talk to us first. If you have a dispute, write to hello@odumworld.com and give us 30 days to work it out with you. Most things resolve here.
If it does not resolve, the state and federal courts located in Florida have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we each consent to venue there.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you by email or in the Service before it takes effect, and you can stop using the Service if you do not agree. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
When Hinru opens beyond the closed beta, these Terms will be replaced by a fuller version covering subscriptions and the option to use your own assistant provider. We will give you notice before that happens, and you will not be charged without agreeing to it first.
22. Your rights where you live
If you are a consumer in the UK, EU, or EEA, you have rights under your own country's law that an agreement cannot take away. Nothing here affects those rights, and where these Terms conflict with them, your statutory rights win.
23. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor to our business.
