What we collect, and what we don't.
This policy covers hinru.com, our email list and any optional application you submit. For your account, saves, conversations and use of the assistant, read the Hinru app Privacy Policy.

The short version
- If you join our email list, we collect your email address. If you fill out the optional application, we also collect the answers you submit.
- Ordinary website requests include technical information, such as your IP address and browser information. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you; it shows us totals such as page views and which site sent you. We use no advertising pixels or advertising cookies.
- We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.
- You can have everything deleted at any time by asking. See Deleting your data.
What we collect
If you join the email list
Your email address, along with subscription information such as how you joined the list.
If you fill out the optional application
We keep the answers you choose to type or select, including applications submitted before open signup:
- The save you're currently playing
- Roughly how many hours you've put into Football Manager
- Which assistant tools you already use, if any
- What a tool like this would be worth to you monthly
- What you'd want it to remember
- Where you spend time in the FM community
- Whether you're open to a conversation with us
We also record the date you submitted. Every field is optional except your email, and you can skip the application entirely and still join the list.
Website requests and messages to us
Our hosting provider receives ordinary request information, including IP addresses and browser information, to deliver and protect the website. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which also receives the technical information needed to serve those requests. If you email us, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
What we do not collect here
The email-list form does not ask for payment details. We use no advertising profiles, device fingerprints or browsing-history tracking. Creating an account in the Hinru app is covered by the separate app Privacy Policy.
Why we collect it
- Your email: to send the Hinru updates you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Your application answers: to understand players, shape what we build and follow up where you said you were open to a conversation.
- Technical information: to deliver and protect the website and load its fonts.
- Messages to us: to answer your questions and handle your requests.
We use this information for the purposes above. There is no advertising business here.
Who else touches it
These services handle information needed to run the website, email list and support inbox.

Each publishes its own privacy terms: Beehiiv, Airtable, Vercel and Google.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
We keep application answers while they are needed for the research and follow-up described above. If you ask us to delete yours, we delete it.
Your rights, and deleting your data
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- See what we hold about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Delete all of it
- Get a copy of it in a portable format
Email hello@hinru.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity so we do not disclose or delete someone else's information. We aim to respond within 30 days. A person reads your message and answers personally.
If you're in the UK or EU, the GDPR gives you these rights formally, and our legal basis for holding your email is your consent, which you gave by submitting the form and can withdraw at any time.
Children
Hinru is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted their information, write to us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this page
If we change how any of this works, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll email the list rather than quietly editing.
