The backroom Football Manager never gave you. Staff who learn how you play, hold the reasons behind every call, and pick up exactly where you left off, season after season.
You already do this in your head. You remember the calls that mattered, you learn from how they turned out, you drop the ideas that flopped. What you don't do is hold all of it at the same volume forever.
An assistant will. Everything you have ever told it goes in one pile, and a bigger pile is not a better memory. The squad you sold two seasons ago sits there at the same weight as the one you have now, and the advice gets vaguer as the pile grows.
Hinru keeps different things differently. That is the whole idea, and everything below is what it looks like while you play.
Three things happen quietly in the background while you play. You don't manage any of it.
| Your calls stay yours | Every signing, every sacking, every tactical gamble, held the way you made it, with the reason behind it. Nothing silently rewritten to stay tidy. |
|---|---|
| The facts stay current | Squad, budget, form. The things that change get refreshed, so what's true now stays true instead of piling old on new. |
| What worked becomes a rule | When a call works, or doesn't, that goes back onto the decision it came from. The thing you learned the hard way three seasons ago turns up before you repeat it. |
Start a session and your backroom is already up to speed. Where you are, what you've decided, and what you learned the last time you were tempted to do this again. No re-pasting, no re-explaining.
It's a team that knows your world, not a tab you check. A second screen, not a second game. It sits alongside your play instead of becoming the thing you tend.
A chief scout who keeps your shortlist window to window. An analyst who reads the opposition and your own patterns. A coach who shapes the week. They've been through every season with you, they know how you work, and they keep what works. The voice of reason before a call you'll regret. You make every call, grounded in your save.
A week has a shape. So does a window.
The match week
| Desk | You come back after a week away. Your numbers, your open loops, what you picked up last time and the threads you asked it to keep an eye on. You don't go looking for any of it. |
|---|---|
| Analysis | You pull the opponent apart. What comes out is a brief for Saturday. |
| Matchday | Saturday, the brief is waiting for you. |
| The call | You pick a shape and you say why. The why is what it keeps. |
| Desk | Next time you sit down it's still there, with your reason attached. |
The window
| Recruitment | The shortlist doesn't reset in June. Targets stay on it window to window, with the note about why you liked him. |
|---|---|
| Management | What he costs, what the last one cost, and what that did to the wage bill. |
Conference Room
Some calls aren't one person's. A striker who fits the system but not the wage bill is two arguments, and your scout only has one of them.
So you're not talking to one of them, you're talking to the room. They don't always agree. You still make the call, you just make it having heard the argument.
Across the season
Do something twice and it's a pattern. Do it a third time and one of them says so before you sign.
That's the part you can't get from a chat window. Nobody was there for the first two.
It sharpens your calls with your own save history, it doesn't make them for you. You stay in the game, and every decision is still yours. Your record is yours too: kept the way you made it, never quietly overwritten.
Hinru runs on the same kind of assistant you might already use. Bring your own account, or use the built-in option so it just works. Either way it's your club it's learning, not generic football facts.
